With Chap\u00edn Group we can visit one of its most attractive regions. Ciudad Real is more than the Tables of Daimiel, or the Festival of Theater of Almagron.<\/p>\n<p>The Calatrava region includes the villages of: Aldea del Rey, Almagro, Calatrava Ballesteros, Bolatra de Calatrava, Carri\u00f3n de Calatrava, Calzada de Calatrava, Gran\u00e1tula de Calatrava, Miguelturra, Pozuelo de Calatrava, Torralba de Calatrava, Valenzuela de Calatrava, Alcolea from Calatrava, Argamasilla de Calatrava, Caracuel de Calatrava, Ca\u00f1ada de Calatrava, Ciudad Real, Corral de Calatrava, Fern\u00e1n Caballero, Moral de Calatrava, Pic\u00f3n, Poblete, Los Pozuelos de Calatrava, Puertollano, Villamayor de Calabraba and Villar del Pozo.<\/p>\n<h2>What to see in the Calatrava Region?<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Claver\u00eda Palace in Aldea del Rey:<\/strong> in the highest part of its municipality, located just 30 km south of Ciudad Real, on the hill of Alacranejo, are located the imposing and evocative ruins of the Sacred Convent and of the Castle of Calatrava which undoubtedly make us travel back in time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Castle of Calatrava la Nueva in Aldea del Rey:<\/strong> we take a leap in space and time to travel to the most durable headquarters of the Order of Calatrava, which changed from the &#8220;old&#8221; to the &#8220;new&#8221; in 1218, just six years after the crucial battle of Las Navas de Tolosa. For a long time it served as a notorious control of the road to Sierra Morena and which became their headquarters, when it was donated to the Calatravos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gran\u00e1tula de Calatrava:<\/strong> located in the Jabal\u00f3n Valley in the <strong>Campo de Calatrava<\/strong>. From the products worked in the land such as potatoes or fruits to livestock, thanks to the large production of sheep meat and milk. But the star dish in the area is the eggplant of Almagro. In the case of Bola\u00f1os, it is not the original, but the one known as eggplant from the Calatrava Field. De La Mayor, lots that were acquired by the Villa in the year 1546. His style is gothic with dull nuances of Renaissance style.
