We travel to Trujillo with the Chapín Group´s bus. Trujillo is a Spanish municipality that is located in the province of Cáceres, in the autonomous community of Extremadura.
This municipality has been a Roman town and a medieval city, allowing the city to obtain the titles of Very Noble, Very Loyal, Distinguished and Very Heroic City.
In 1528, it was the capital of the province of Trujillo, integrated as a part of the province of Salamanca in 1591, until the creation in 1653 of the provinces of Extremadura.
Illustrious neighbours were born in the town, as was the conqueror of Peru, Francisco Pizarro and the discoverer of the Amazon River, Francisco de Orellana.
